A todo el mundo le gusta el cine, eso es algo indiscutible, pero para los amantes de la moda hay veces que depende de que película, se quedan un poco cortos. Yo soy un gran fan de las películas documentales, y mucho mas si tratan sobre moda! El post de hoy va dirigido a todos, pero en concreto a los que tenéis el mismo gusto que yo.. Hay muchas mas películas que tienen relación con la moda, e incluso que están centradas totalmente en ella, hay varios documentales sobre Anna Wintour, Valentino y otros, pero yo os traigo hoy la selección de mis TOP 6 de películas sobre moda, para que así, si algún día tenéis un plan aburrido en casa y no sabéis que hacer.. toméis nota y miréis alguna de ellas!

Everybody loves cinema, that's obvious, but the fact is that for people who love fashion there isn't enough movies about it. I am a big fan of documentary movies, and most of my favorites are about fashion obviously! Today's post is about that, I selected my TOP 6 Fashion Movies.. So if one day you don't have a plan and you want to have a entertaining time, take note and watch one of them.. or maybe watch them all!

1. Bill Cunningham NEW YORK
Es una película documental sobre Bill Cunningham y su trabajo como fotógrafo de street style para el New York Times. La película entrevista a varios amigos y gente del mundo de la moda que esta en contacto con Bill, y muestra como es su rutina diaria. Una muy buena película sobre un hombre histórico y peculiar!

This is a documentary movie about Bill Cunningham and his work as street style photographer for the New York Times. Such a great movie, with fun moments, dedicated to a historical men!



2. The September Issue
Esta película documental trata a modo de diario como fue la realización del mayor numero de la revista VOGUE bajo la dirección de Anna Wintour. Desde esta película se puede ver como se toman las decisiones para cada editorial, cada sesión de fotos, las elección de las colecciones que se mostraran, y sobre todo, del duro trabajo y el estrés que hay detrás de todo ello. Una película totalmente recomendable para todo aquel que tenga en mente dedicarse a la moda por la via impresa.

This documentary movie shows how is the realization of the hugest issue of VOGE magazine directed by Anna Wintour. You can see, and feel, the pressure when they have to choose a collection to feature on the magazine, when they have to choose the perfect shooting.. It's a great movie for those who are interested in fashion editorials.

Pelicula documental sobre la creación, y el importante nivel mundial que representa Bergdorf's en Nueva York. La tienda que acoge solo a los mejores diseñadores, situada en la quinta avenida de NY y que ocupa una manzana entera del barrio.

Documentary movie about the biggest store in New York City, where you will only find the best designers, and the one that occupies one whole block on the 5th avenue, BERGDORF's! If you're planning a visit to New York you should be watching this movie right now and taking a one-day stop to visit it!



4. McQueen and I
La película documental que cuenta la gran y trágica trayectoria de Alexander McQueen. Amigos y referentes del mundo de la moda acompañan a este documental con sus comentarios y anécdotas sobre como vivía y com trabajaba el diseñador. Solo veo esta película una vez al año, y es para rememorar su trabajo día del aniversario de su muerte.

Documentary movie about the tragic and big trajectory of Alexander McQueen. Friends and references from the fashion industry talk about her begginigs and how he was one of the biggest of his time. I reserve this movie to watch it only once every year, and it's for the anniversary of his death to commemorate his work.

Pelicula documental sobre la vida y obra de una de las mujeres con mas vision de la moda de la historia, Diana Vreeland. Al igual que con la película de McQueen, y como en todas los documentales en general, amigos y referentes de la moda aportan anécdotas y información sobre su trayectoria.

Esta película esta basada en The September Issue y hace una critica del duro trabajo y un poco a la vida superficial desde el punto de vista de una nueva empleada en la revista. Muy recomendable para ver con aquellos amigos a los que no les apasione la moda, pero quieran pasar un rato entretenido!

Confessions of a shopaholic is a comedy movie, it's just the perfect way to spend a bored afternoon with friends who are not extremely interested in fashion, but want to have a little fun. This movie is a critic about The September Issue and shows, in a kind of funny way, the hard work of a new employee in a fashion editorial.
